PERSONS – I’m back; may I please show? Selena Gomez made the announcement on Instagram on January 11 with this succinct post and three bathroom pics. She removed all social media from her phone more than four years ago for the sake of her mental well-being.

The actor from Only Murders in the Building took this choice in 2019 when she had the most Instagram followers worldwide since the unfavourable remarks impacted her too much. In order to avoid being tempted to visit the programme, she had made sure that she no longer had access to her password.

The photographs and words the singer provided her crew were often posted online after her team persuaded her not to deactivate her account. Selena Gomez now seems prepared to regain control of her Instagram account without a middleman.

Concentrate On Mental Health

Photos of the celebrity with her pals and her younger sister Gracie, who she accompanied to the Golden Globes, have been more prevalent on her page in recent weeks. She tweeted a picture of herself playing pool while wearing an evening gown after formally declaring her return to the app.

Since receiving a bipolar illness diagnosis in 2018, the singer has been paying close attention to her mental health. She said that she was “better than ever” in an interview with Elle in 2021, in large part because of her choice to stop using social media.

“I had to learn how to have alone time. I used to be able to spend hours perusing other people’s lives, “She said. Selena Gomez seems to be recovering after a protracted period of depression that was discussed in the documentary My Mind & Me.

She made a suggestion that her next album will reflect her newfound balance when performing on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show in December: “I’m skilled at composing melancholy songs, so I’m accustomed to doing it. But I’m prepared to have a good time, and I hope others will agree.”
