How King Charles III Spread The News Of Princess Diana’s Death Is Revealed By Prince Harry

In his forthcoming book, Prince Harry reflects on the death of his mother Princess Diana and describes how, in his account, King Charles III broke the news to him.

The Duke of Sussex described how his father King Charles III informed him about Princess Diana’s death in his forthcoming biography Spare.

According to a copy of the book, En La Sombra, in Spanish, which NBC News was able to get, Charles put Harry, who was 12 years old at the time, down on the bed. Harry claims that Charles addressed him as “my beloved son” before informing him that Diana had been injured in a vehicle accident and that her condition didn’t seem to be getting any better.

According to the text that NBC News was able to receive from Harry, “What I do recall with amazing clarity is that I did not weep.” “No tears. My dad did not give me a hug.”

Both Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace have refused to comment when contacted by NBC News. Prince Harry’s spokesperson also refused to speak to NBC News on the record.

After being pursued by the paparazzi, Diana was killed in a vehicle accident on August 31, 1997, in Paris. She had a 36-year-old age.

Harry discussed what it was like for him and his brother Prince William to grieve their mother’s passing in public in their most recent Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan.

During the episode, he added, “When my mother passed away, we had two caps to wear.” “One was the desire for our two mourning kids to weep, grieve, and process their sorrow in the wake of our mother’s passing. The second was that the royal headwear did not interact with the populace, shake their hands, or even exhibit any emotion. It was quite difficult for William and I to adjust to the U.K. practically taking us in as their children and expecting to see us out and about.”

Harry said in the documentary series that “Although he claimed to “had many early recollections” of his mother, he mostly recalled how the paparazzi followed them and how she “did such a terrific job in trying to protect us.”

Harry said he felt the obligation to safeguard Meghan and his children Archie Harrison, 3, and Lilibet “Lili,” because he doesn’t want “history to repeat itself.” “Age 19 months: Diana

Harry is now opening up about his life, particularly his relationships with his father and brother after he and Meghan left their roles as working members of the royal family in 2020. The 38-year-old discussed his present connection with William and how Diana would feel about it in a forthcoming appearance with Good Morning America.

In a previous preview for his interview with GMA, Harry remarked, “I believe she would be sad.” “She would likely be considering the long term and understand that there are certain things we must go through in order to repair the relationship. The previous two years have been the longest I’ve gone without feeling my mother’s presence.”
